Akıncı, the armed unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Turkish defense company Baykar, has achieved a precise hit on a target at sea from a distance of 100 kilometers in a test launch using the domestically developed Çakır cruise missile.

In a digital age where even pets have their social networks, a group of students from Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) has launched PatiWe, an innovative application facilitating the socialization and matchmaking of pets. Founded by computer science and educational technology students, the app aims to connect not only furry friends but also their caregivers.

The Versus Art Project is currently hosting M. Ali Çakır's first Istanbul solo exhibition, "Shapeless Mass." 
The exhibition, which consists of works over the past two years, confronts viewers with Çakır's thoughts, hidden in the folds of the subconscious, emerging to the surface in a quest for freedom. 

The Turkish Family and Social Policies Ministry has initiated work with the Justice Ministry to draft a new legal regulation levying heavier punishments for violence against women amid a legal saga over the attack of a man who attacked a woman wearing shorts, according to Minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya.
