Austria awards Turkish NGO president with 'Decoration of Honour in Gold'
Akkan Suver, the Marmara Group Foundation president, has been awarded with the "Decoration of Honour in Gold" by the Austrian State during a ceremony held by Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen at the Austrian Embassy in Ankara.
Albanian president awards NGO leader Suver
The president of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, has been awarded with a special merit medal by Albania for his works on peace and stability in the Balkans.
Speaking during the medal ceremony on June 9, Albanian President Bujar Nishani stated that Suver had worked to foster peace, stability and coexistence in the Balkans with the NGO that he leads with modest means.

Azerbaijan prepares special stamp for Eurasia Summit's 18th anniversary
In a grand gesture, the Republic of Azerbaijan has printed special edition postage stamps for the 18th Eurasian Economic Summit.
The stamps, which have pictures of the flags and landmarks of both Azerbaijan and Turkey (the Flame Towers in Baku and Istanbul?s iconic Sultanahmet Mosque) were printed as a gesticulation of the good relationship between the two countries.
