Interest in the Aksaray Malaklısı, an Anatolian dog breed, has increased with the arrival of summer and the start of the grazing season in pastures.

The best herd-protecting dogs in the world are Kangals, Aksaray Malaklisis, Anadolu bandogs and Anadolu whiteheads, all of which are found in Turkey, according to a Turkish dog breeder.

A group of six new-born puppies known as "Malaklı" has left visitors in admiration in the central Anatolian province of Aksaray. 

Fatih Dağdaş, the breeder of the Bandogs, said the puppies were born 15 days ago, noting that they need special care particularly in the winter.
