NASA salutes ‘glowing Istanbul’
NASA has posted a night image of Istanbul taken from the International Space Station (ISS) on social media, with a message saying, "Hey Istanbul, you are glowing."
The image was captured by the International Space Station on May 10 as it orbited 263 miles (around 423 kilometers) above the Black Sea, NASA said in a post on Instagram.

World Kiteboarding Championship to kick off in Akyaka
The Turkish Aegean town of Akyaka in the southwestern province of Muğla will welcome the World Kiteboarding Championship (WKC) for the second consecutive year from Sept. 5 to Sept. 9.
Slow city's winds draw surfers to Turkey's Mu?la

Turkey's ?av?at becomes a 'slow city'
The northeastern province of Artvin?s ?av?at district has been declared a ?slow city? by the Cittaslow 2015 general committee.
At a press conference, Artvin Governor Kemal Cirit said that the committee made the decision between June 21-23 in Milan. He added that the title was very important for the future of the district.
