Ten gets aggravated life sentence for 2015 Ankara bombing

Ten defendants were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment on July 1 in the trial over the 2015 ISIL bomb attack that targeted a crowd gathered in front of the capital Ankara's train station for a rally.

An Ankara court delivered the sentences nearly nine years after the attack, the deadliest suicide bombing in Türkiye's history.

Turkish police on alert to capture four ISIL members prepared for attacks in Turkey

Turkish police has been put on alert to capture four suspects, who are members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and have entered Turkey from Syria for a major attack, Anadolu Agency reported.

According to the report, intelligence units have found out that the suspects, one of them a foreign national, have recently entered the country.

One of the two suicide bombers in the Oct.10 Ankara Massacre was Yunus Emre Alagöz, the brother of ?eyh Abdurrahman Alagöz, who was the perpetrator in the Suruç suicide attack that killed 33 members of a socialist youth group and wounded more than 100 on July 20, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor?s office announced on Oct. 19.
