Albanian Gangs Seizing UK Cocaine Trade, Report Says

Albanian organized crime groups are taking an increasingly high profile role in the cocaine trade in the UK, while Romanian gangs are increasingly prevalent in "modern slavery" in the UK, according to a new report from the UK's National Crime Agency, NCA, which blames corruption at airports and ports for the apparent ease of access of the drugs to the UK.

Serbian Daily "Blic" links Hashim Thaci to crimes, war crimes, terrorists

The Belgrade-based daily Blic has started publishing articles which it says reveal "secret data about the Albanian mafia in Kosovo."

In the first installment of a series of articles, the newspaper writes that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci "heads one of the biggest criminal organizations."

According to authorities, 12 suspects were identified as members of the ring, which is believed to have been smuggling drugs into Greece from Albania, while another 42 are believed to have acted as their accomplices.
