Bulgaria Claims Black Sea Resorts Are in Normal Condition after Floods
The Bulgarian Association of Travel Agents (BATA) has informed that the situation at the Black Sea resorts after the heavy rain is normal.
The torrential rain of the past few days led to flooding in the lower parts of some hotels but there was no serious and lasting damage, according to BATA, as cited by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.
1,200 Tourists Evacuated in Bulgaria's Albena Resort
Some 1200 tourists in Bulgaria's Black Sea resort of Albena have been evacuated from hotels located near the Balata Reserve due to the risk of flooding from the Batovska river.
No guests of the resort have been injured, Vesti.bg reports.

A man has been rescued in Bulgaria's Black Sea Albena resort during a low-level flight of two Cougar helicopters of the Bulgarian Air Force, Friday.
Destitute people from the resort have been evacuated safely by army trucks ZIL – 131 and the military continue to assist victims in the area, BGNES reports.
