Chinese to invest in Serbia's energy sector - minister
Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic said this in Croatia on Friday, where he is a member of the Serbian delegation attending a meeting of the Central and Eastern European Countries and China (16+1).
Serbia to refute EU opposition to TurkStream's 2nd line
Serbia will not accept the European Union's opposition to the TurkStream pipeline extension project as it did when the Union opposed the South Stream project four years ago, the Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic told Anadolu Agency on April 10.

PM attends China-Central and Eastern Europe summit
The Serbian government announced last week that the format of cooperation, "16 + 1," is "a comprehensive mechanism for high-level cooperation in the field of economy, especially infrastructure, as well as in agriculture, culture and media, science and technology, sports, IT sector and other fields."

"Serbia leader in energy cooperation with China"
Serbia is the country where China is implementing the largest number of infrastructure and energy projects, says Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic.
According to the Serbian government, Antic said this was concluded during in a meeting between energy ministers of China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, held in Bucharest on Wednesday.

Gas interconnection with Bulgaria by 2018
The 150 kilometer-long gas interconnection between Bulgaria and Serbia is to be completed by 2018 so that gas could start flowing in 2019.
This announcement was made on Tuesday by Serbian Minister of Energy ad Mining Aleksandar Antic.

Serbia may decide to build TPP Stavalj soon
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic said Tuesday that in the following few months, Serbia could make a decision to start the construction of a Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Stavalj and expand and build new mines in the complex, which should be implemented in cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic.
