Montenegro Seeks Closer Ties With Belarus
Montenegro and Belarus will sign a five-year agreement on economic and security cooperation on the sidelines of this year's UN General Assembly session, which starts in New York on Wednesday.
Under the draft protocol, which BIRN has seen, the two countries' foreign ministries have agreed a model for a five-year cooperation, which was initiated by Belarus.

Lukashenko expects Nikolic to visit Minsk
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expects Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to visit Belarus, the Belarusian news agency Belta has reported.
The agency reported that Lukashenko said this during a meeting with Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has said he will not attend Victory Day celebrations in Russian capital Moscow on May 9.
Lukashenko has cited the need to receive Minsk's own parade marking the 70th anniversary since the end of World War Two in 1945.
Belarus President Lukashenko Dismisses Prime Minister
Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko has appointed his chief of staff Andrei Kobyakov as Prime Minister.
The move was announced on Saturday by the press service of the President.
Kobyakov replaces Mikhail Myasnikovich, who served as Belarus' Prime Minister since December 2010, according to Deustche Welle.

BELGRADE -- The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Holy Synod presented on Thursday Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko with the medal of St. Sava.
Patriarch Irinej said during the ceremony that Serbia would never forget the support Belarus had provided regarding Kosovo.

SPC awards Lukashenko St Sava medal
BELGRADE - The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Holy Synod of Bishops presented on Thursday Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko with the medal of St Sava, while Patriarch Irinej said Serbia would never forget the support Belarus had provided regarding Kosovo.
Irinej presented Lukashenko with the medal, the SPC stated.

BELGRADE -- Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko continued his official two-day visit to Serbia on Thursday by meeting with the country’s president, Tomislav Nikolić.
Lukashenko was welcomed in front of the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade with full state honors.
