Alimos to become the seaplane hub of Athens

Alimos is evolving into a hydroplane hub, as Athens is about to receive seaplanes for the first time after half a century.

ELAS bans public open-air gathering of Albanians on Sunday in Alimos

The ELAS announced that, by decision of the Director of Police of Southeastern Attica, it prohibits the holding of public open-air gatherings by Albanian nationals.

The gathering has been announced via social media for Sunday (15/12) at 19:00 on Koris Street in the Alimos area.

Five metro stations to close Sunday, Monday for 5G installation

Stations on metro Line 2 will be closed on Sunday and Monday (December 15-16) evening for the installation of the 5G network.

The stations Elliniko, Argyroupoli, Alimos, Ilioupoli and Agios Dimitrios will be closed at 10.30 p.m. until the end of service, the operator Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) said Saturday.
