UN official praises Turkey for addressing intolerance
A UN official on Aug. 7 praised Turkey for using multilateral cooperation to fight against all forms of intolerance and working for the intercultural "Alliance of Civilizations" initiative.

The United Nations' Alliance of Civilizations is far away from attaining its foundational targets, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an said April 26.
Turkish president to visit Baku, Zagreb next week
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an is set to pay visits to Baku and Zagreb, first attending a global forum meeting of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in the capital of neighboring Azerbaijan.
While in Croatia, Erdo?an will be accompanied by a large business delegation and attend a meeting of the Turkey-Croatia Business Forum.

How best to fight the 'Islamophobia industry'
Time flies... It was nearly a decade ago that Turkish and Spanish leaders institutionalized their efforts to build interfaith dialogue and peace between the Islamic and Western worlds. Since then, at least a couple of million (overwhelmingly Muslim) people have been killed (overwhelmingly by Muslims in sectarian and other wars).
