Vučić today with the ambassadors of Quint countries and the head of the EU delegation
Vui will meet with the ambassadors of the United States of America, Great Britain, France, Italy and Germany, as well as with the head of the European Union delegation.
The meeting is scheduled at 8:30 a.m., in the building of the General Secretariat, the Office for Media Relations of the president announced.
US assistant secretary of state to visit Slovenia
Washington – Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Michele Sison will pay a visit to Vienna, Rome and Ljubljana, the US Department of State announced on Friday, but it has not yet revealed when exactly the visit will take place.

Biden Nominates a New Ambassador to Bulgaria
US President Joe Biden has nominated Kenneth Merten as new US ambassador to Bulgaria. This is stated in a statement by the White House.
Merten (b. 1961) is a career diplomat. Until recently, he was a Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Haiti. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Global Talent Management.

New US Ambassador Harpootlian presents credentials to Pahor
Ljubljana – The new US Ambassador to Slovenia Jamie L. Harpootlian presented her credentials to President Borut Pahor on Thursday, after the US Embassy in Ljubljana was headed by the chargé d’affaires for more than a year. Harpootlian said on the occasion that Slovenia and the US had tremendous opportunities to strengthen their ties in many ways.

Ljubljana – US Ambassador to Slovenia Lynda Blanchard will leave Slovenia next week when the incoming US President Joe Biden is to be inaugurated, the embassy confirmed for the STA on Monday. Blanchard, a political appointee, sent her resignation notice to outgoing President Donald Trump today.

US Embassy donates PPE to Hellenic Police
The US Embassy in Athens has bolstered the Hellenic Police's defenses against the coronavirus with a donation of masks, gloves and other personal protective equipment.
Monday's donation, which included 15,000 gloves and 8,200 face masks, was personally delivered by US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt to the chief of the Hellenic Police (ELAS), Lieutenant General Michael Karamalakis.
