A postage stamp featuring the portrait of American author Maya Angelou - one of the most prominent writers in American 20th century Literature, has been printed out across the ocean.
Maya Angelou came into fame after her authobiographic book I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, where she addressed the issue of racism in the Southern states.

Municipal workers in Greece to strike over withheld bonuses
The union representing municipal workers, known by its acronym, POE-OTA, on Thursday called on its members to walk off the job in the week leading up to general elections on January 25 as a protest against the fact that a large number of municipal staff are not eligible for the bonus employees are usually paid for working in election periods as they have pending debts to the state.
Minister accuses municipal workers' union of covering up illegal contracts
Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday accused the union representing municipal workers, POE-OTA, of resisting the governments attempts to review the contracts of local government employees who had their fixed-term agreements made permanent almost a decade ago.
Municipal workers hold work stoppage
POE-OTA, the union representing Greeces municipal workers, has called for a work stoppage starting 11.30 a.m., across the country on Wednesday. A protest rally has been planned for noon outside the Ministry of Administrative Reform on Vas. Sofias Avenue.

Union calls for occupation of town halls as mayors defying evaluation are probed
As Supreme Court prosecutor Efterpi Koutzamani ordered a preliminary investigation into five mayors who are refusing to cooperate with the government over civil service evaluations on Monday, the union representing local authority workers, POE-OTA, called on employees to occupy city and town halls in protest at the proposed reform.
Municipal, cultural ministry, employees stage protest
The municipal workers' union (POE-OTA) and the Ministry of Culture workers union (POE-YPPO) on Thursday staged a protest rally outside the Ministry of Administrative Reform.
Employees were protesting the governments evaluations scheme in the public sector as well as changes in the conversion of short-term contracts to permanent contracts.
Local authority workers to protest outside ministry
The union representing local authority workers, POE-OTA, is planning to protest outside the Administrative Reform Ministry in central Athens on Tuesday to mark one year since the first public servants were placed in a labor reserve scheme which led to some of them losing their jobs.
The rally will start at 12.30 p.m.
