Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis returns to the Herod Atticus Theater for his annual summer concert, presenting an upbeat program of popular jazz and swing tunes in a show titled "P.S. I Love You," following a sold-out run last winter. He is joined on stage by the Blue Skies big band and Tammy McCann, hailed as one of the top jazz acts in Chicago right now. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Angela Brown | Athens | February 1-4

Blues diva Angela Brown takes the stage at the Half Note - with Christian Rannenberg on piano and "Detroit" Gary Wiggins on saxophone - with popular tunes and Chicago standards from February 1 to 4. Doors open at 10.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9.30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Tickets cost 20, 25 and 30 euros and can be booked by phone.

Eric Gales | Athens | November 25

Hailed as the new Jimi Hendrix and a child prodigy since breaking out onto the blues-rock scene at the age of 16 in 1991, Eric Gales returns to Athens after a sold-out show last March. The American guitarist will perform original work and popular covers at Stavros tou Notou on Sunday, November 25, starting at 9 p.m.

Brad Mehldau Trio | Athens | May 19

Hailed as one of the most influential jazz pianists in the world today, Brad Mehldau and the two musicians who complete his trio - Larry Grenadier on bass and Jeff Ballard on drums - take the stage at the Onassis Cultural Center for one night of musical exploration on Saturday, May 19, taking in jazz, classical and pop and rock. The show starts at 8.30 p.m. and tickets cost 7-45 euros.
