A 43-year-old man in western Greece who shot and killed his estranged wife with rifle before turning the gun on himself, is believed to have threatened to kill their 13-year-old daughter if she didn't return to the house, state-run broadcaster reported on Saturday.

Fire breaks out in Amfilochia
Strong firefighting forces, including four aircraft and a helicopter, mobilized after a fire broke out Monday in an agricultural forest area in Amfilochia, western Greece.
Twenty-nine firefighters, a ground unit, and 11 vehicles are responding. Local authorities are also providing assistance with water trucks.
