Jankovic ranks 8th, Ivanovic 13th on WTA list
LONDON - Serbia's best-ranked female tennis player Jelena Jankovic dropped by two positions on the latest WTA list and currently holds the 8th place on the list with the score at 4,150 points.
After a short stay at the 6 position, Jankovic returned to the 8th place as she was overtaken by Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic and Angelique Kerber of Germany.

Ivanovic ousted by Kvitova
MIAMI - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic has failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the WTA premier series tournamen in Miami.
She lost to Czech Republics Petra Kvitova 3-6 6-0 6-0 on Monday.
Ivanovic went from brilliant to terrible in her game and will probably have trouble putting this match behind her.

Ivanovic reaches top 16 in Miami
MIAMI - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic has reached the top 16 phase of the WTA tournament in Miami.
She defeated Italiy's Flavia Pennetta 6-4 6-3 in 3rd round on Saturday.
Ivanovic played well throughout the match and took the victory after 79 minutes on court.
Jelena Jankovic was ousted in the 1st round when she lost to Varvara Lepchenko of the US 6-3 2-6 7-6(2).

Ivanovic is off to a good start in Miami
MIAMI- Serbia's Ana Ivanovic made an easy job of Lauren Davis of the United States at the WTA Premier tournament in Miami, beating her 6-1, 6-1 in a second round match after a first round bye on Thursday.
Twelwth-seeded Ivanovic will next face either Italy's Flavia Pennetta or Olga Govortsova of Belarus.

Jankovic to face Serena Williams in quarterfinals
DUBAI - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic beat Czech Republic's Lucy Safarova 7-5 6-4 on Wednesday to reach the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament in Dubai.
The match lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes, with Jankovic coming out on top after a great struggle and a lot of ups and downs in her game.
She will now face Serena Williams from the US, who is the top seed in Dubai.

Ivanovic powerless against Venus Williams
DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic failed to reach the quarterfinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, losing her second-round match on Wednesday to Venus Williams of the U.S. by 6-2, 6-1.
Williams easily notched her ninth win against Ivanovic in just 56 minutes.

Ivanovic bests Kerber in Dubai
DUBAI - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic had a successful opener at the WTA tournament in Dubai on Tuesday notching a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (6) win against Germany's Angelique Kerber.
Ivanovic is next to take on Venus Williams of the U.S., who scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Russia's Elena Vesnina.
Earlier on Tuesday, Serbia's Jelena Jankovic outlasted Ukraine's Maryna Zanevska 6-4, 6-3.

Zakopalova ousts Ivanovic in Doha
DOHA - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic failed to reach the third round of the WTA singles tournament in Doha, after losing to Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 in a second round match on Wednesday.
After winning the first set, Ivanovic lost her grip and the 32nd ranked Czech used the opportunity to clinch her first victory against the Serb.
