Istanbul Photo Awards exhibit to open in New York
The second exhibition of the Istanbul Photo Awards 2024, an international news photography contest, will open in New York on Oct. 15.
The Turkish House (Türkevi) will welcome the selection of works of 32 award-winning photographers in the contest organized by state-run Anadolu Agency.

Istanbul Photo Awards exhibition kicks off in Ankara
An annual international photography exhibition, the Istanbul Photo Awards 2021, kicked off in Turkey's capital Ankara on Oct. 11.

A mural painted by a Mexican artist was unveiled in the Turkish capital Ankara on April 12, attracting a great deal of attention.
Born in Mexico and resides in Ireland, Kathrina Rupit painted a wall on Güvenlik Street in Ankara's Çankaya district.

All Anadolu Agency staffer released after detention in Egypt
All of Anadolu Agency staffers, who were detained by Egyptian police earlier this week, were released, said the agency head on Jan. 19.
"All our staff members, detained in Egypt on Jan. 14 have been released," Anadolu Agency Director-General Şenol Kazancı said.
On Jan. 14 evening, Egyptian police raided the Cairo office of Anadolu Agency and detained four employees.
