BRUSSELS - Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac signed in Brussels on Thursday the agreement to join the Creative Europe programme which enables artists and creators in Serbia to access the EU funds.

Over 600,000 visitors are expected to take part at the International Theatre Festival in Sibiu, FITS, one of the most important performing arts festival in Europe.

Some 350 events are scheduled to take place in Sibiu between June 6 and 15, gathering participants from 70 countries.

European Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou has announced the launch of a formal investigation of London's decision to suspend grants and loans to Bulgarian and Romanian students.
