Opposition candidate hopes polls to bring ‘spring’ to Türkiye

Opposition Nation Alliance's joint president candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has cast his vote with hopes that "spring will come" to Türkiye as a result of the landmark 2023 presidential and parliamentary polls.

Accompanied by Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Kılıçdaroğlu voted in a school in the Turkish capital Ankara with his wife, Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu.

Visitors flock to Teknofest 2023 in Istanbul

Teknofest, Türkiye's largest aerospace and technology festival, has started in Istanbul, is already attracting large crowds on the first day of the event.

This year, Teknofest has brought technology enthusiasts together for the seventh time in total and sixth time in Türkiye.

The festival excitement will continue for five more days at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul.

High speed railway launched between Ankara, Sivas

A new high-speed train service has been launched between the capital Ankara and the Central Anatolian province of Sivas.

The train will depart from Ankara's high-speed train station and pass through the nearby provinces of Kırıkkale and Yozgat before it reaches Sivas, Transport Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu informed at the new line's inauguration ceremony.

Istanbul, Ankara mayors to tackle disaster management, social policies if elected

Nation Alliance joint candidate and Republican People's Party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has announced that Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will be responsible for disaster management and Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş for social policies if the opposition wins the May 14 presidential polls.
