Turkey’s Council of State suspends hotel construction in Cappadocia, warns of damage to nature

Ankara Film Festival ready to hit screens
Themed âMemorylessness,â the 25th Ankara Film Festival kicks off tomorrow. Ten Turkish films will compete for the festivalâs grand award. The event also screens selected films from the world The 25th Ankara International Film Festival, organized by the World Mass Media Research Foundation.

All Gezi Park protesters released after two days
The 153 people who were detained in Istanbul and Ankara during demonstrations to mark the anniversary of the Gezi Park protests were released on June 2.
The protesters, who were detained and taken to the Vatan Police Department in Istanbul on May 31, were taken to ÃaÄlayan Courthouse to testify.
