Police shoots, wounds suspected Gülenist former police chief
An Ankara police has shot and wounded a former police chief who is being sought over his alleged connections with the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) after he disobeyed the police's orders to stop.

3:40 p.m. - Supreme Election Board (YSK) head Sadi Güven said in a statement that seals featuring the word "yes" instead of "choice" would be counted as valid.
He also stated that ballot papers on which YSK seals were applied to the front instead of the back would also be deemed valid.
Mysterious incident on July 16
One of the events that still maintains its "mystery" about the coup attempt perpetrated by the Fethullahist gang is what Mehmet Dişli, with his major general rank, experienced on the day of July 16, 2016, when he was on duty at the Chief of Staff headquarters. He is also the brother of ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy chair Şaban Dişli.

'One and the Many' exhibition in Ankara

Thousands protest coup attempt across Turkey
Thousands of people took to streets on July 16 to protest the coup attempt in the country.
Protesters waving flags gathered in Istanbul's Taksim Square. The group also staged a marched toward the central Istiklal Avenue.
