A missing British tourist may have been mauled to death and devoured by wild animals while hiking between archaeological sites in northern Greece, authorities said Tuesday after a woman's gnawed body was discovered in a remote hilly area.

Out of service is the electronic auction site with the Anonymous hacker team claiming responsibility yesterday with a statement posted on facebook.

The Electronic Auction System was down until at least 11 am on Sunday.

The online hacktivist Anonymous relaunched operation OpIcarus targeting banking sector in Europe and the United States.

The Bank of Greece had their website under a series of distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS) forcing the servers to remain offline for more than 6 hours.

According to Reuters news agency, Greek banks could receive a cash injection of up to 10bln Euros before the scheduled bank ‘stress tests’ are completed. The news agency cites a European Commission official, on condition of anonymity, pointing out that the Greek banks need an immediate inflow of money in order to operate smoothly.

A number of families of 872 students have decided to leave the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r, after the names and personal details of their children were controversially released by a district education office, daily Zaman reported on Jan. 16.

Macedonia's parliament will start the procedure to annul the mandates of 31 opposition MPs in the first half of December, a source from parliament's Committee on Rules of Procedure told BIRN under condition of anonymity.
