Anonymous target Bank of Greece

The online hacktivist Anonymous relaunched operation OpIcarus targeting banking sector in Europe and the United States.

The Bank of Greece had their website under a series of distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS) forcing the servers to remain offline for more than 6 hours.

Reuters: 10bln Euros could be released for Greek banks before stress tests

According to Reuters news agency, Greek banks could receive a cash injection of up to 10bln Euros before the scheduled bank ‘stress tests’ are completed. The news agency cites a European Commission official, on condition of anonymity, pointing out that the Greek banks need an immediate inflow of money in order to operate smoothly.

Macedonia Parliament to Revoke Opposition MPs' Seats

Macedonia's parliament will start the procedure to annul the mandates of 31 opposition MPs in the first half of December, a source from parliament's Committee on Rules of Procedure told BIRN under condition of anonymity.

"Legally, there should be no problem revoking their mandates because the requirement for such a thing will be met," the source said.
