Anti-American sentiment in Europe

The leader of the Bulgarian party "Revival," Kostadin Kostadinov, labeled the phenomenon of bought votes as "the tumor of Bulgarian democracy" during his first press conference following the elections. With the Central Election Commission (CEC) confirming results, the party received 13.358% support, securing 35 seats in the newly elected 51st parliament.

This follows the expulsion of the far-right AfD delegation from the "Identity and Democracy" group just two weeks before the European elections.

Amidst the political uncertainty in Bulgaria, Kostadin Kostadinov, the leader of "Revival," has advocated for holding "two in one" elections on June 9, encompassing both the European Parliament and early parliamentary elections. Speaking to reporters in Varna, Kostadinov emphasized the importance of ending the prolonged societal turmoil.
