For the First Time in Bulgaria: Treatment of COVID-19 Patient with Blood Plasma
On April 29, Wednesday, blood plasma from people with antibodies against Covid-19 was infused into a seriously ill patient infected with the coronavirus. On Thursday morning the patient was in good general condition.

He added that there would be increasing debate among the profession over measures to restrict movement throughout the day.

WHO: The Presence of Antibodies does not Mean 100% Immunity
It is unclear whether the presence of antibodies in the blood confer complete immunity against COVID-19. This was stated by one of WHO experts Mike Ryan.
Even if antibodies are effective, there is little indication that a large number of people have developed them and are beginning to offer so-called herd / group immunity.
Covid-19 Immunity Testing of Bansko Residents Begins
The Covid-19 immunity testing of the residents of Bansko, which was the first Bulgarian town placed under a fourteen-day quarantine, has begun. Each test lasts for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, which means that 4 to 5 persons are tested in one hour.
Turkey starts work to produce COVID-19 test kits
Turkish technology company NANOBIZ on April 9 announced it started working on producing country's indigenous test kits for the diagnosis of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
"With high precision molecular test kits, COVID-19 diagnosis can be made rapidly on the field," said a statement by the company.

Breakthrough in the Creating of a COVID-19 Vaccine
A laboratory in Vienna has announced that it is about to create a vaccine against the new type of coronavirus, the website "oe24.at" reported. The vaccine will be created using blood plasma antibodies from the treated and successfully cured patients.
