Ancient Church unearthed in Pisidia, Turkey
A big church in the ancient city of Pisidia, located in the southern province of Isparta’s Yalvaç district, has been finally unearthed after three years of work.
The church, built in the sixth century, is believed to have been destroyed during a big fire in the 11th or 12th century.

Season opens at the ancient city of Pisidia
This season's excavations have started in the ancient city of Pisidia in the southern province of Isparta's Yalvaç district.
The head of the excavations, Süleyman Demirel University's Professor Mehmet Özhanl?, said this year's work would focus on the Temple of Men, which is valuable enough to enter the UNESCO World Heritage List.
