At Least 27 Killed as Gunmen Target Tourist Hotel in Tunisia

At least 27 people were killed and several injured as gunmen targeted a tourist hotel near the Tunisian resort city of Sousse on Friday.

The interior ministry informed that a "terrorist attack" was ongoing, with at least one gunman shot dead and another being pursued by security forces, the BBC reports.

Serbian Ambassador to Tunisia Nikola Lukic says no Serbian tourists were staying at the Imperial Marhaba hotel near the site of a terrorist attack on Friday.

According to the BBC, which quoted the Tunisian Interior Ministry, at least 27 people, including foreigners, died in the attack on a beach near two hotels in the resort town of Sousse.

Jerusalem added to list of Turkey's umrah locations

Turkey?s Directorate General for Religious Affairs (Diyanet) has included the al-Aqsa Mosque into the religious Umrah program that will be effective as of April 15.
