Türkiye’s exports hit record $262 billion in 2024
Türkiye's exports increased by 2.5 percent last year from 2023 to $262 billion in 2024, according to data from the Trade Ministry.
In December alone, the country's exports amounted to $23.5 billion, marking a 2.2 percent increase.
The country's foreign trade deficit shrank 22.7 percent last year to $82.2 billion.

Foreign trade gap narrows 31 percent in January-September
Türkiye's foreign trade deficit narrowed by 31.1 percent on a yearly basis to $60.43 billion this January-September, according to official new figures.
The country's exports totaled $191.75 billion in the nine-month period, up 2.6 percent, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said on Oct. 31.
Foreign trade deficit widens 21 percent in June
Türkiye's foreign trade balance posted a deficit of $6.44 billion in June, widening 21.4 percent from a year ago, the Trade Ministry has said.
Exports fell 10.6 percent year-on-year to $18.6 billion, while the annual decline in imports was 4.1 percent to $25 billion.
The export/import coverage ratio deteriorated from 79.7 percent in June 2023 to 74.3 percent last month.

Exports and imports decline in March: Trade Ministry
Türkiye's exports fell by 4.1 percent to $22.6 billion, while the annual decline in imports was 5.7 percent to $30.1 billion in March, data from the Trade Ministry has shown.
Consequently, the country's foreign trade deficit came in at $7.5 billion last month, shrinking by 10.3 percent from March 2023.
Exports increase more than 8 percent to $20 billion in July
Exports increased by 8.3 percent in July from a year ago after plunging nearly 11 percent in the previous month, the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
The country's export revenues amounted to $20 billion last month.
Exports climbed to $23.6 billion in March
Türkiye's exports showed a 4.4 percent increase in March from a year ago to stand at $23.6 billion, the preliminary data from the Trade Ministry have shown.
This marked an all-time-high March figure in exports, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said.
"We expect the impact from the earthquakes on production and exports to wane further in the coming months," Muş said.

Trade deficit widens to $10.6 billion in July
Türkiye increased its exports by 13.4 percent on an annual basis to $18.6 billion in July, preliminary data from the Trade Ministry showed on Aug. 3.
Imports grew nearly 41 percent to $29.1 billion. Consequently, the country's foreign trade deficit widened by 145 percent year-on-year last month to $10.6 billion.

Exports increased nearly 20 percent to $22.7 billion in March
Turkey's exports rose by 19.8 percent on an annual basis to climb to $22.7 billion in March, data from the Trade Ministry have shown.
This marked an all-time high export figure for the month of March, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said, adding that in January and February record monthly export levels were recorded. "Third time in a row, we achieved those record numbers," Muş tweeted.
