Coastal Athens attracts bulk of investor interest
The Athens Riviera represents about 80 percent of demand for property purchases in the broader area of the Greek capital. Coastal locations stretching from the city's seaside southern suburbs all the way to Sounio are attracting most of the interest, while buyers are also focusing on Artemida (Loutsa) and Rafina, according to data provided by online real estate platform Spitogatos.

Athens International Airport does not pay taxes to municipalities
The municipalities of Rafina – Pikermi, Markopoulo-Spata and Artemida appealed to the Council of State asking for Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos run by German Hochtief to pay retroactively from 2008 municipal fees and taxes.

Two men remanded over Athens medical student's kidnapping
Two men suspected of kidnapping a 27-year-old medical student from near her home in the Athens neighborhood of Kypseli earlier this month were remanded in custody on Wednesday.
The two suspects, aged 48 and 53, are alleged to have held the woman at a home in Artemida, northeastern Attica, until they were paid an 82,500-euro ransom.
