Articulated bus

Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras on Tuesday signed a contract for the purchase of 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) articulated buses.

The deal was inked with the head of Iveco Bus' Europe Commercial Operations, Giorgio Zino. 

The 18-meter buses will be added to the Athens public transport fleet. 

We will be launching 22 new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses in a matter of days, Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova told bTV. "Next week we have to start the single tests of the metro trains, so that in the autumn we can launch the first section of the third underground line," Fandakova said.

30 new buses will start running along routes 72 and 84, said Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, Focus News Agency reports.
