Türkiye’s oldest citizen passes away
Arzu Sınıroğlu, who held the title of Türkiye's oldest person at the age of 117, has passed away at a hospital in the Central Anatolian city of Kırıkkale, where she was receiving care.
Sınıroğlu, a resident of Elmalı village in the Delice district, was celebrated for her healthy lifestyle and positive outlook on life.

In a unique scenario, a landlord has discovered that his apartment in Istanbul has been transformed into a 27-bed daily rental through illicit subleasing arrangements.
Rented to a foreigner with a Turkish residence permit through an allegedly unauthorized real estate agent, the three-room apartment in Avcılar district was subsequently subleased to another individual.
UK nominates movie on gender-based violence in Turkey for Oscars
A British-made documentary about pervasive gender-based violence in Turkey has been selected as the United Kingdom's Oscar nominee for the 94th Academy Awards, to be held in March in Los Angeles.
Directed by Chloe Fairweather, "Dying to Divorce" has been selected to represent Britain at the Oscars as the official entry in the Best International Feature Film category.

Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, a famous Turkish actor, adopted a donkey foal from the Work Animals Rescue Foundation's (WARF) farm in Istanbul's Beykoz district on March 29.
