The countdown has begun for the biggest electronic dance event of the year, the Prime Music Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8, at Plateia Nerou and the Faliro Tae Kwon Do Indoor Arena.

The electronic dance music PRIMER festival returns for its fifth outing on September 7-8 at Water Plaza (Plateia Nero), Kallithea with headliners Sweden's chart-topping Eric Prydz and Dutch legend Martin Garrix. The Onassis Cultural Center's Movement Radio initiative is holding a special 24-hour tribute to German music pioneers Kraftwerk on the occasion of the Dusseldorf-based band's 50-year anniversary.

Born out of Belgium, Tomorrowland is among the largest electronic music festivals in the world. This year, the organization's Unite with Tomorrowland events in other countries, which serve as a satellite link to the main event in Belgium, will include Greece.

Yalta Club, which has organised the SOLAR Summer festival at Sunny Beach's Cacao Beach Club for the past ten years, announced on Tuesday that the event will not go ahead this year because of the uncertainty caused by recent raids.
