Athens is reemerging as a center of innovative democratic processes, as the city will later this month host an innovative "Citizens' Assembly" a few days before next month's Athens Democracy Forum (ADF).

The Athens Democracy Forum (ADF), organized by the Democracy & Culture Foundation (DCF) in association with The New York Times, has announced this year's Teens for Democracy Initiative.

This ambitious program aims to amplify the voices of teenagers in democratic processes, bridging the intergenerational gap, and empowering young individuals to shape their future.

It's less than three months to go from the next edition of the Athens Democracy Forum, taking place in the Greek capital from September 27-29, 2023.

Politicians and policymakers, academics and activists, journalists and youth will be challenged to advance and discuss concrete solutions to address the most pressing issues of our time.
