2016 confirmed as hottest year on record
Last year's global weather was the warmest since modern record keeping began in 1880, a U.S. government report said Aug. 10.
The 27th annual State of the Climate report, prepared by more than 450 scientists from nearly 60 countries under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's watch, said 2016 marked the third straight year of record warmth.

The Greek Meteorological Services (EMY) has issued a severe weather warning staring from late Thursday. According to the emergency forecast, the weather will deteriorate substantially with heavy rainfalls, low temperatures, strong winds and topical hail starting on Thursday and Friday, October 28.

Strong Winds Expected along Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast
Bulgaria's weather service has issued a Code Yellow warning over heavy winds along the Black Sea coastline on Monday.
Northeastern winds will grow stronger throughout the day in all three coastal regions, namely Varna, Burgas and Dobrich.
Occasional gusts at a speed of 14-17 m/s are expected in the evening.
Most of Bulgaria Braces for Rain on Sunday
Many areas in Bulgaria will see rainfall throughout Sunday, with low temperatures especially in the north of the country, according to the national weather service.
Maximum temperatures in the north will reach just 14 degrees, while in some places in the south of Bulgaria much milder weather is expected, at 22 degrees.
