A Turkish maritime patrol aircraft ATR-72 and a Turkish helicopter violated the Greek airspace on Wednesday as they entered Athens flight information region (FIR) without submitting a flight plan.

The three violations occurred over the southeastern Aegean.

3 violations of air traffic rules (ATC) were recorded in the FIR Athens, in the area of the southeastern Aegean Sea.

The Turkish aircraft were identified by international rules, as is standard practice.

A Turkish CN-235 naval cooperation aircraft and a Turkish UAV entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) on Thursday without filing a flight plan, according to the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA).
