Rare photos of Marilyn Monroe go up for auction
A collection of rare and never-seen-before photos of Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe taken by one of her most devoted fans in the 1950s is up for auction.
The 183 images are included in the personal collection of James Collins which was a member of the ‘Monroe Six’, a group of fans who followed Monroe so often that she gave them special access into her life, as Daily Mail writes.

An explicit Western sex manual entitled Aristotle’s Masterpiece is set to go on auction.
The sex guide was described as the dirtiest book of the time when published in 1684 and is full of 17th-century erotica and graphic love-making tips.

Dorothy’s dress sold for $1.56 million
The dress worn by Hollywood screen star Judy Garland when she played Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” was auctioned at $1.56 million in New York. It was the chief highlight in a sale by Bonhams auction house where 400 pieces of Hollywood memorabilia were auctioned. Total sales by the auction house and Turner Classic Movies netted total sales worth more than $4 million.

Turkish state fund puts 94.44 pct of local lender Adabank up for sale again
Turkey's Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) will again put local lender Adabank up for auction on Feb. 23, 2016, after previous auctions did not yield results, as was announced in the Official Gazette on Nov. 21.
The insurance fund has put an appraisal price of $60 million on some 94.4 percent of Adabank, $17.5 million less than the previous 2014 appraisal price.
Bulgarian Businessman Reportedly Acquires Vivacom for EUR 330 M
The Bulgarian businessman Spas Rusev has reportedly acquired the leading Bulgarian telecommunications company Vivacom after a bidding, which lasted for nearly sixteen hours.
According to media reports, he won the auction by offering EUR 330 M, Darik radio reports.
The other bidder was the Greek businessman Panos Germanos, who is owner of the Olympia Group.
