State plans to auction dozens of houses from next month

The state will put 31 properties owned by debtors up for auction immediately after the process for the settlement of debts to the tax authorities in up to 120 tranches is completed.

These asset auctions have been scheduled for the period from October 23 to December 20, but could be canceled if the debtors concerned apply to join the 120-installment repayment program by September 30.

Sofia Municipality Will Give Аpproximately BGN 8 Мillion for Chimney Filters against the Dirty Air

The Metropolitan Municipality has announced an order for the supply and installation of household chimney filters that use wood and coal for heating. The estimated budget is BGN 7.92 million with VAT. The plan is to initially buy up to 1000 pieces, and subsequently, possibly more.

Greece sells 6-month T-bills, at lower 0.15 pct yield

Greece sold 813 million euros ($906.17 million) of six-month treasury bills to refinance a maturing issue, the country's debt agency PDMA said on Wednesday.

The debt agency sold the new paper at a yield of 0.15 percent, down 8 basis point from 0.23 percent in a previous sale in July. The amount raised included 187.5 million euros in non-competitive bids.

Islamic artworks go under the hammer at Sotheby’s

Some of the best examples of artwork from the Islamic world, including a portrait of the great Ottoman Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, will go under the hammer at Britain's famous auction house Sotheby's on May 1.
The collection titled "Arts of the Islamic World" has 311 pieces that will find new owners in the auction to be held on May 1.
