Bulgaria: Bad Road Accident, 3 Dead
A total of three victims died after the accident on the highway "Trakia" at 356 km in the direction of Sofia-Burgas, said the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in the seaside town.
The incident happened around 20.30 this evening after the highway exit Balgarovo.

Rabla car scrappage program to begin on April 26
The budget for the Environment Administration Fund (AFM), the institution that finances the Rabla Clasic and Rabla Plus car scrappage programs, will be presented during Wednesday's Government reunion, and the Rabla program will start on April 26, declared, on Wednesday, the Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests, Tanczos Barna, during a press conference.

25.8% drop in car registrations in Romania, after first three months (APIA)
Romanian car registrations have dropped by 25.8% during the first three months of this year, in comparison with the similar period of last year, according to a press release sent by the Car Producers and Importers Association (APIA).
Auto production tops 212,000 in Jan-Feb
Automotive production in Turkey, including light commercial vehicles, tractors, and automobiles, totaled 211,877 million units in the first quarter of 2021, a sectoral report revealed on April 12.
The Automotive Manufacturers Association said that in January-March, the figure had slipped by 10% from a year ago.

Turkish AK Automotive expanding production in Koper
Koper – AK Automotive, a Turkish-owned company, to expand production and has recently purchased a production facility in Koper it used to lease from Cimos. It plans to invest more than EUR 20 million in the location within a year.
AK Automotive was set up in 2018 by Kücükoglu Holding, which acquired Cimos’s kinematics business the same year.
Higher prices of used cars in Serbia?
If Germany changes its Law on Warranties, currently one of the hottest issues in the European economy could affect used cars arriving in Serbia from Germany to become 10 to 20 percent more expensive.

Layoffs announced at Alpina
Žiri – Alpina, a footwear maker best known for ski and hiking boots, plans to reduce its headcount by more than a tenth at its main production location in Žiri after a dismal year marked by store closures and the long shutdown of ski slopes around Europe.
