Leading Turkish defense and tech firm Aselsan is set to export a remote-controlled weapon system to the Gulf state of Bahrain.
Aselsan signed a sales contract with Bahrain to supply the advanced remote-controlled system for naval use, a company statement said Wednesday.

Bahrain's top diplomat to visit Turkey amid Gulf row
Bahrain's foreign minister will pay a visit to Turkey on June 10 as tension between Qatar and prominent Gulf and Arab countries are continuing to escalate.
Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and will be received by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the foreign ministry said in a written statement on June 9.
