English actress Emma Watson managed to elude Turkish media throughout her low-key three-day holiday in Istanbul, but she lashed out at journalists as she was frisked by airport police on her way back home.

A 140,000-meter square manmade peninsula as large as ten football stadiums has plans to be constructed as a shoreline extension of Istanbul's Ataköy neighborhood, which  has ran out of space for new buildings.

Four people were injured on May 8 when the ceiling collapsed at part of the domestic terminal of Istanbul's Ataturk airport, Turkish media reports said.

Istanbul?s Atatürk Airport will be closed down after the city?s third airport is completed and opened to flights, Turkish Airlines Chairman Hamdi Topçu said during a news conference in the northern province of Kastamonu on March 1.
