A child has gone missing in the waters of the Danube river near the Bulgarian city of Ruse on Tuesday.

Three children were bathing in the river in the area of the so-called "Horse beach" under the Riga hotel.

The children were bathing in the forbidden area, when one of them went missing, Darik radio reports.

Stefan Ilic, who was missing for three days before he was found dead, was not kidnapped, the police have determined.

Local media in Bela Crkva, a town near the Romanian border, have published footage reportedly showing the car used in the kidnapping of a missing boy.
