Medical Association: Bulgaria's Health System Is Falling Apart
The health system in Bulgaria is falling apart and the government is acting irresponsibly, said the Sofia organisation of the Bulgarian Medical Association in a press statement.
“In the final days of its failed rule, the Government again demonstrates total lack of responsibility,” said the Association.
MEP Nikolay Barekov Reportedly Overtakes TV7 National Channel
The MEP Nikolay Barekov reportedly overtakes his former employer, the national channel TV7, which earlier this week filed for bankruptcy.
In an official statement, published on the TV7 website, the company management claimed that in the late Thursday afternoon “a dozen tattooed thugs and a temporary assignee in bankruptcy muscled into the TV7's offices”.
Bulgaria's TV7, BBT File for Bankruptcy With Sofia City Court
The TV7 and BBT TV channels filed for bankruptcy with the Sofia City Court, in accordance with the Commercial Act, reports Dnevnik.bg.
“With this move the company hopes to protect itself from invalid claims of creditors,” said the management of the two connected companies in a statement to the media.

Telekom will "definitely" be privatized - minister
BELGRADE -- Economy Minister Dušan Vujović has announced that Law on Bankruptcy, Privatization and Subsidies would be adopted in July.
He also said that the state-owned telecommunications company Telekom Srbija (Serbia) would "definitely" be privatized.

Dias fish farming applies for Chapter 99
Dias Aquaculture on Wednesday announced its decision to apply for entry into the conciliation procedure under Chapter 99 of the Bankruptcy Law.
The company also announced that it had submitted an application asking for a creditor protection interim order in favor of the company and its subsidiaries.

Parliament adopts amendments to privatisation law
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament adopted on Monday the amendments to the privatisation law which extend the deadline for restructuring of 156 companies for another five months.
A total of 180 MPs voted in favour of the amendments, ten were against their adoption, four MPs refrained from either backing or opposing the amendments while one MP did not vote.
