One of the few original works by famed street artist Banksy, titled “Go Flock Yourself“, was brought to Athens by Kapopoulos Fine Arts. This work, a dynamic mixture of oil and spray paint on metal, measuring 90×90 cm, was first shown in Greece in 2010.

Banksy: London zoo removes his latest artwork

The artwork at the zoo depicted a gorilla holding part of a roll that allowed birds and a sea lion to escape.

London Zoo announced that it removed Banksy’s artwork on Friday night to preserve it and to restore the zoo’s entrance to full functionality after visitors flocked to see it for five days last week. It was replaced with a replica and a sign that read, “Banksy woz ere.”

This is the third piece in a new animal-themed collection, depicting monkeys. It is the third composition of black figures since Monday, for which the Bristol street artist has claimed credit.

The graffiti, located on the wall of a building near Kew Bridge in Richmond, southwest London, shows the goat looking down, while it appears that stones are falling from where the animal is perched.

Boots, Banksy, piano: Elton John puts items up for auction

Music icon Elton John has put a variety of personal items up for auction at Christie's in New York, including monogrammed silver leather platform boots, a grand piano and a triptych by street artist Banksy.

Most of the items come from John's former home in Atlanta, a condo on Peachtree Road that was recently sold, the auction house said on Jan. 11.
