Holiday shopping: Stores open on Sunday
Retail stores are operating on an extended schedule for the holiday season and will be open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., while chain stores and malls will stay open until 8 p.m.
Consumers' preferences for holiday gifts remain consistent, with clothing and footwear leading the list, followed by gifts, toys, and cosmetics.

Stores to open on Sunday for summer sales
Stores will be open on Sunday as part of summer sales that began this week.
According to current regulations, stores can open voluntarily on the first Sunday of the sales period, with operating hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for shops and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for large stores and shopping centers.

Easter shopping hours in Athens announced
The Athens Traders Association announced on Friday the proposed working hours for Athens stores during the Easter holiday season, which will start on Thursday April 6, and is as follows: Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Thursday (April 10-13) from 9 a.m.

European quality distinction for 190 Greek products
A ceremony was held in Athens on Tuesday for the awards granted to 190 Greek products following their assessment by 175 eminent European chefs and sommeliers in Brussels earlier this month. All the products were deemed to be of high quality by the experts who sampled hundreds at the annual event organized by the International Taste & Quality Institute.
