Slovenia’s EuroBasket hopes dashed
Slovenia lost the first two games at the European Women Basketball Championship, ruining their prospects to make it to the quarter-finals for the first time, the goal at what is their fourth EuroBasket to date.
The team lost against Germany 62:66 at Stožice Arena in Ljubljana on 16 June and 71:76 against Great Britain on 15 June, when the event opened.

Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) have won the first Eternal Belgrade Derby of the basketball season by beating Partizan 83-72 (20-23, 28-16, 22-14, 13-19).
The ABA League Round 8 game was played late on Monday.
Jokic best young player in ABA League
BELGRADE - Mega Leks basketball player Nikola Jokic has been proclaimed the best young player in the ABA League in the 2014-2015 season, the League published on its website on Tuesday.
This was Jokic's second year in the ABA league, and he was named the most valuable player in the regular part of this regional tournament.

Partizan defeated in Podgorica, to face Red Star in playoffs
PODGORICA - Partizan Belgrade lost to Buducnost Podgorica 85-79 (19-24, 24-20, 23-25, 19-10) away from home late Sunday, finishing fourth in the regular season of the regional basketball ABA league.
As a result, Partizan will face first-placed Red Star Belgrade in the playoffs.
