Shusha set to reopen for settlement
The city of Shusha in Nagorno-Karabakh, which Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation three years ago, will soon be opened to civilian settlement, as feverish works are also being undertaken for the restoration of the historical structures.

Turkey, Azerbaijan launch joint military drill in Lachin
Turkey and Azerbaijan on Sept. 6 launched a joint military drill in Azerbaijan's Lachin region that was liberated from Armenian occupation last year, according to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The joint exercise is being held under the Agreement on Military Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the ministry said in a statement.
Traces of war disappearing in Azerbaijan’s Shusha
The traces of war are quickly being healed in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha, the "cultural capital" of the country, which had come under heavy bombardment during an almost 44-day fighting with Armenia.
Daily life in the city started returning to normal as officials work on an inventory of historical structures that had turned into ruins and military units.

President Erdoğan visits symbolic Karabakh city
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on June 15 visited the symbolic town of Shusha recaptured by ally Azerbaijan during last year's war with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Turkey was a key backer of Azerbaijan during the conflict, which erupted in September and ended in a Russian-brokered ceasefire after six weeks of fighting and some 6,000 deaths.

Erdoğan pledges to visit Karabakh after Eid al-Fitr
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on March 31 said he plans to visit Shusha, the symbolic city of Karabakh liberated last year from the Armenian occupation.
"We hope that we will have a new holiday in Shusha as soon as possible by visiting Shusha after Eid al-Fitr," Erdoğan said, addressing the Turkic Council Presidents Summit with a live link.
Turkey, Azerbaijan agree to deepen cultural cooperation
Turkey's communications director on March 2 met Azerbaijan's Culture Minister Anar Kerimov.
Fahrettin Altun received an Azerbaijani delegation in the capital Ankara, according to an official statement from the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate.
The two sides discussed ways to improve collaboration in communication, media, culture, and cinema, the statement said.
