The great international artist made a confession of the soul at the 26th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival - "Twice in my life I had to answer positively to something, because I would regret it on my deathbed: The first is the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games and the other is Pina Bausch, these are death sentences"

In "New Piece 1: Since She," at the Onassis Cultural Center, acclaimed Greek choreographer Dimitris Papaioannou pays tribute to Pina Bausch nine years after her death, with a series of wonderful tableux vivants referencing landmark works by the German dance legend, accompanied by music by Verdi, Mahler, Wagner, Prokofiev and Tom Waits.
