Bosnia Herzegovina buys Turkish armored vehicles for its military
Bosnia and Herzegovina is set to receive Kirpi II armored vehicles from Türkiye in March, the country's Defense Ministry has announced.
In a statement, the ministry noted that Defense Minister Zukan Helez met with representatives from BMC, one of Türkiye's leading producers of commercial and defense vehicles.
Türkiye dominates 65 pct of global UAV market: Baykar chairman
Türkiye controls 65 percent of the global unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market, according to Selçuk Bayraktar, the chairman and chief technology officer of Turkish drone maker Baykar.
Speaking at the "Take Off Istanbul" event, he said Baykar's Bayraktar TB2, the world's most famous combat UAV, took off in 2014, and the Bayraktar AKINCI made its first flight in 2019.
Bayraktar TB2 surpasses 1 million flight hours
Baykar's Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) has reached a major milestone, logging over 1 million flight hours, the company has announced.
The achievement cements its place in Turkish aviation history as the first and only domestically developed combat aircraft to surpass this benchmark since entering service in 2014.

Türkiye's Bayraktar TB3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) achieved a milestone in aviation history by becoming the first drone to take off and land successfully on a short-deck ship.
The milestone was reached on Tuesday, as the TB3 operated from the short-runway carrier TCG Anadolu.
Türkiye leads as top drone supplier: US think tank
Türkiye has emerged as the world's largest supplier of unmanned aerial vehicles and armed drones, according to a U.S.-based think tank.
A report issued earlier this month by the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) said Türkiye, China and the United States have collectively made 69 armed military drone sales to 40 different countries since 2018.

Baykar starts building drone factory in Ukraine
Turkish company Baykar has started building a drone factory near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, says its CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
Baykar's TB2 or TB3 drone models will be produced at the plant, which will create jobs for 500 people, Bayraktar said, speaking at the World World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh.
