Heineken must pay compensation to brewer that produces Vergina
Dutch justice has found the Heineken group as jointly responsible for the anti-competitive practices implemented by its subsidiary in Greece, Athenian Brewery, in the domestic beer market, ruling on the lawsuit filed by the Brewery of Macedonia-Thrace (Vergina).
Athenian Brewery to invest 70 mln euros by 2025
"Heineken believes in Greece. It believes in the country and the company, Athenian Brewery," said Alexandros Daniilidis, the managing director of Athenian Brewery, which turns 60 this year.

Dutch brewing giant Heineken is scrapping 8,000 jobs worldwide in an effort to cut costs, and some 300 are scheduled to go in the Netherlands, the company confirmed on Wednesday.

Heineken exports to China, Italy
