First Belgrade Waterfront residential building opened
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and President Aleksandar Vucic, the Serbian government announced.
On that occasion, Brnabic, Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, Belgrade Mayor Zoran Radojicic, Eagle Hills Director Mohamed Alabbar and Director of the Belgrade Waterfront company Nikola Nedeljkovic cut the ribbon.
Vucic receives Alabbar in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade on Thursday with Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of the Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills company, the investor behind the Belgrade Waterfront project.
In a recent exclusive interview with Tanjug, Alabbar said he was satisfied with Serbia-UAE cooperation on the project.

Alabbar: First BW tenants to start moving in by spring
ABU DHABI - Tenants in the first two buildings under construction at the Belgrade Waterfront (BW) site will start moving in by spring next year at the latest, says Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Eagle Hills, the Abu Dhabi-based company bankrolling the project.
Migrants relocated from central parts of Belgrade
The last group of migrants, about 400 people, has been relocated from the area around Belgrade's main bus station and nearby tents and sheds.
These will now be demolished in order to make way for the construction of the Belgrade Waterfront buildings.

Vucic: Tender to be announced for "new symbol of Belgrade"
A tender for "the new symbol of the capital - Belgrade Tower" will be announced this month, while its construction will begin in October.
Prime Minister and President-elect Aleksandar Vucic said this on Wednesday, as he toured the 21 floor of Tower B of the Belgrade Waterfront project.

Thousands of protesters in Belgrade on April 25 took to the streets to demand a probe into a multi-billion euro riverside building project in the Serbian capital.
Protesters displayed a yellow duck, a symbol of their opposition slogan, "Let's Not Sink Belgrade," near the Sava river where residential buildings, hotels, and shopping mall will be built.

"Let's Not Drown Belgrade", the Serbian campaigning movement opposed to the controversial Belgrade Waterfront development, is staging another protest on Thursday as it continues its drive to seek official responsibility for the night-time demolition of sites presumably intended to make way for the development.
