Viktoria Radeva managed a draw with Agnesa Stepania Ter-Avetisyan on the third board.

In the latest global chess rankings for April, several Bulgarian players have made noteworthy strides, with Antoaneta Stefanova, Nadia Toncheva, and Veselin Topalov securing spots among the top 30 in their respective categories. Meanwhile, Nurgyul Salimova has achieved a remarkable record ranking, signaling Bulgaria's continued prowess on the international chess scene.

In a dazzling display of strategic prowess, Antoaneta Stefanova secured a silver medal at the European Rapid Chess Championship held in Monte Carlo. The seasoned Bulgarian chess grandmaster showcased her skills in 11 intense games, where competitors grappled with a time constraint of 15 minutes per move, plus an additional 10 seconds.

In the chess rankings for December, Nurgyul Salimova is in the top 5 for girls in classical chess and in blitz and rapid, and Nadya Toncheva is in the top 10 in rapid.

A total of four young Bulgarian chess players found a place among the top 25 of the FIDE world rankings for girls published today.

Nurgyul Salimova fell by one position compared to October and is fourth in the ranking with an ELO of 2412.
